Can I open a driving file at the age of 17?
Yes, you can apply to obtain a motorcycle license at the age of 17. For light vehicles (LMV) you should be aged at least 17 years and 6 months to start training, but you cannot get your license until you are 18 years old (based on Ajman Traffic regulations).

When should I renew my Learners Permit?
The Learner’s Permit is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and is renewable. In Case if the student has given Knowledge Test or Road Test then their file will be cancelled after 6 months from the date of last test.

What will happen if I stop my training midway and start after a few months?
If for any reason, you discontinue your training, you can still resume within six months from the date you stop, as the Learning Permit is valid for 3 months.
